Who do I think I am? Read Below.
About Moi
I'm a filmmaker, storyteller, and tech geek who strives to infuse my work with innovation, heart and humor. I'm fresh off a stint as a Creative Director at VR company Strivr, where I directed and co-wrote 18 live-action VR experiences and led over 20 voiceover sessions for big-name brands like Bank of America and CVS. Recently, I was one of 9 women selected for the “Future Directors of Studio Features” program—Variety gave it a shoutout!

Prior to my work at Strivr, I created and directed "The Room Actors: Where Are They Now?"—a 10-episode mockumentary series that hit festivals like Hollyshorts and Raindance before partnering with Funny or Die and scoring over 1 million views. My dark comedy short "Fruitless" got some love at Tribeca and a bunch of other festivals, plus NBC scouted me after a screening at New Filmmakers LA. Right now, I'm in pre-production on a family comedy starring George Wallace and set to direct two female-driven comedy features.

Critics have called me “super-talented” (PopSugar), a talent full of "moxie and conviction" (LA Times), and “zany and witty” (Tubefilter). (My mom made me include that). I've been fortunate to be profiled in Entertainment Weekly, The Hollywood Reporter, and Movie Maker Magazine among others. I've shared my journey on Entertainment Weekly Radio, the ScriptLab podcast, and AMC’s Comic Book Men. Since I love divulging my secrets - I've guest lectured at USC & Hollins University and spoken on panels at festivals like Raindance, Atlanta, and Sunscreen.

As a screenwriter, I've worked with Oscar-winning producers (the folks behind “King Richard” and “Spotlight”), written for Disney, and created TV and VR narratives. I've been lucky enough to win writing awards, including the Samuel Goldwyn Screenwriting Award, the Jack Nicholson Prize in Screenwriting, the Harmony Gold award and a Humanitas Prize nomination - among others. My scripts received accolades at major competitions including Austin and the Nicholl. My latest screenplay "White Zinfandel" - best described as a female Hot Tub Time Machine - was recently a finalist at Cinequest and Nashville film festivals. When I’m not writing or directing, you can probably catch me doing improv—I’ve performed with IO West, The Groundlings, and Second City.

Before embarking on my entertainment career, I worked in DC as a healthcare management consultant. I have a BA in Public Policy from Duke and an MFA in Screenwriting from UCLA. I guess you could say that I’ve picked up a pretty expansive toolkit along the way, and it’s made the journey all the more exciting!
